FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS(WAXING):

• What type of wax do you use?

I use Hard Wax that shrinks wraps and hardens around the hair and lifts from the skin creating a more comfortable experience.

• How long should I wait after I Shave or Nair in between waxes?

Please allow from the last time you shaved or nair 3 1/2 to 4 weeks of growth for your Brazilian or Bikini Wax. 

• How long does the Brazilian Wax last?

Afterwards results last from 3 to 6 weeks depending on how your hair grows. The more you get them done the further apart your appointments can potentially become. 

• What should I do before my appointment?

Make sure you are exfoliating 1 to 2 times a week. Also keeping your skin hydrated will help with ingrowns & dryness. 

• Can I get a wax on my period?

Yes if it is light just wear a tampon. You CANNOT book a vajacial when you are!

• Does it matter if I am plus size?

NOT AT ALL COME THROUGH SIS!

• Can I get waxed while I'm pregnant?

Absolutely. We will do everything we can to make our pregnant clients feel as comfortable as possible during their service! 

• Will waxing help with my hyper pigmentation and ingrowns?

YES IT WILL.... With a combination of consistently waxing, exfoliating in-between services, and keeping your skin moisturized you will definitely notice a difference. 

• Does it hurt?

Everyone has a different scale for pain tolerance and what is painful for someone may not bother someone else. If you are still worried about managing sensitivity, we recommend taking an ibuprofen or aspirin roughly 30 minutes before your waxing appointment to help maximize your comfort.

Pretty Kitty is to calm & hydrate the skin after a wax. Vajacial is to treat ingrowns as well as hyperpigmentation can be done 7 days after your wax.

• What is a Facial?

Facials are beauty treatments for your skin that address conditions such as aging, fine lines/wrinkles, acne and acne scars.

• Which facial should I book first?

Book any Bliss Facial and if you still don't know what to choose schedule the "New Client" Facial or close to how you feel your skin is all of them are fully customizable!

• Can pregnant women get facials?

Yes! I have products that are safe for pregnant and nursing women.

• Will I notice a difference after my first facial?

Yes you will! When you come in we will take about your overall skincare goals that will determine how many treatments you need.

• What products will I use afterwards?

After you receive a facial by me I will create you a full skincare regimen with recommended products that will be available on blisskare.org until they're in the shop
